I was able to enjoy a day at Hamilton, Missouri and visited all 12, yes, I said TWELVE Quilt Shops that Missouri Star Quilt Company has to offer!
What a fun day. I did not get an opportunity to see Jenny Doan (founder), personally, but I certainly enjoyed my day as I perused every shop and all the fabrics, notions, tools, and even yarn!
If you ever get a chance to visit the Missouri Star Quilt Shops, you must do so! Â Each shop features a different theme of fabrics: seasonal, batiks, civil war, 1930’s licensed fabrics, baby fabrics, and on and on! If you can’t find what you need for your quilting projects in Hamilton, you won’t find it anywhere!
This trip was actually my Christmas present from my husband, Scott.He is a sweetheart! Â He had a chance to enjoy a bit of it also… Jay’s Burger shop serves up a great burger! There is also a Man Shop so the men can sit down and watch television or read and relax while we do what we do best: Â Shop!

A few years ago, I did get an opportunity to meet Jenny Doan, personally, at the Expo in Chicago. I had a pic taken with her… Here is Jenny! Â I also met her husband at her booth. She has a great family who works right along with her and helps her be so successful.
