Garden of Eden – Block #1 

The first block of our 2017 Patterns of Life series is the Garden of Eden block. It is created using only 3 templates!  It’s a fast and fun bock to create.

Below you will find the links to the instructions, to the Templates, and also to the rotary cutting instructions…if you prefer to rotary cut your pieces.

NOTE: Be sure that “fit to page” is NOT checked when you print your templates, or the templates will not print out in the correct size.

When constructing the blocks for this series, always try to press seams to the dark side, if at all possible.

Fabric Requirements for Quilt:   Blocks:  Dark: 2 yards; Medium: 2 yards; Light: 2 5/8 yards.  Dark Contrast fabric for setting blocks, setting corners, sashing, borders and binding: 2 1/2 yards. Backing: 4 yards.
