In the spring of 1988, I taught myself to quilt by doing everything the hard way and the wrong way…but I had so much fun learning the process of quiltmaking. With each mistake came more insight and understanding and determination! Quilting truly has been a great way for me to allow my creative juices to flow, it allows me to express myself in fabric and color, and it allows me to show my love for others when I present them with a work of love in a quilt!
