Rising Star: Block #12
The Rising Block is another block made from units which are sewn together in rows. .If you love star blocks, this will be a fun block you will want to make! Experiment in a variety of color waves, or use up all those scraps lying around in your sewing room!
You will find the instructions for sewing the block, the templates and the rotary cutting instructions (for those who prefer to use the rotary cutting method as opposed to templates!
When constructing the blocks for this series, always try to press seams to the dark side, if at all possible.

Fabric Requirements for Quilt: Blocks: Dark: 2 yards; Medium: 2 yards; Light: 2 5/8 yards. Dark Contrast fabric for setting blocks, setting corners, sashing, borders and binding: 2 1/2 yards. Backing: 4 yards.
