I’ve been working on 15 new quilt patterns for a book that will correspond to my “Speedy Solutions to Scrap Quilting” Technique book. The photo above is a preview of one of the quilts. It is based on the California Road quilt block and uses my Scrappy Techniques. I’ve named it “California Maze.” I hope to have the Proof of the new book to the publisher by mid-June so that I’ll have the printed books by the time I Lecture at The Great Wisconsin Quilt Show/Madison in September.
Last week, I was contacted by Dana at The Great Wisconsin Quilt Show that they had made the decision to have the September Show be a VIRTUAL Quilt Show. https://quiltshow.com/virtual-experience
So, the Vendor Booths, the Quilt Contests, and the teaching/lecturing classes will all be Virtual. I was asked if I’d be willing to teach my class “Virtually” which I think will be fun! and interesting!! She indicated that they will be working closely with Wisconsin PBS to get everything “Virtual”…
Keep your eyes posted on that Link for the Show as they will be including more and more details on everything as they develop!
I hope to see you in one of my “Virtual” Classes in September! Happy Quilting… Lori
