So here are the fabrics which I’ve chosen from my stash to begin Bonnie Hunter’s Quiltville Good Fortune Mystery Quilt! https://bit.ly/2AoDbhP
I am excited to begin the first step! However, with family in for the Thanksgiving week, my fabrics (as you can see!) are still not cut and sewn as the first clue instructs! However, by the end of the week, I will include photos of my progress!
Join Bonnie and everyone in the Quiltville Good Fortune Mystery Quilt group!
Happy Quilting!

UPDATE: 11/28/18
So last evening I got a good start on sewing Step One of Bonnie Hunter’s “Good Fortune Mystery Quilt sew-along!” To find out more about the sew-along, check out Bonnie Hunter’s blog:

I cut and sewed quite a few 4-patches. About 80 are complete with lots more to finish! Bonnie’s method of putting together 4-patches has always been a favorite of mine! Fast, simple and accurate piecing (as long as the cutting is accurate)!
For this Good Fortune quilt, I found in my stash a red fabric that has Japanese writing on it! I don’t know what it says, but I thought the fabric was quite appropriate for this quilt!! As I continue on the quilt, I will continue to post photos!
Happy Quilting! Lori Dickman
