Merry Christmas 2019!

Merry Christmas to all my Quilting Family and Friends….

Isn’t it hard to believe that 2019 is almost behind us? Such a busy year it was…for me anyway! The Lord blessed me and my family in so many ways.

My husband, Scott, and I were able to enjoy having our son and granddaughter with us during the Thanksgiving week in November. We celebrated our “ThankMas” at that time…which is our Thanksgiving and Christmas all rolled into one! My granddaughter, Dani, and I had fun baking Ugly Sweater Cookies! We had such a wonderful time during that week … We opened our Christmas presents after our meal on Thanksgiving day and enjoyed great fellowship together! Dani and I had silly “girl” chats and played games together!  Dani and I both enjoy the game of Monopoly and putting puzzles together. We worked on a gorgeous Thomas Kinkade puzzle – 1000 pieces! Yikes!  I’m still working on it! Maybe by Christmas next year it will be finished!

Dani brought along her flute and practiced while she was with us. Our Boston Terrier, Bailey, wasn’t quite sure what in the world Dani was doing. The high notes from the flute must have been the issue!  LOL!

I hope you have all had opportunities to spend some wonderful time with family and friends. This is such a special time of year when we can get together as we celebrate the Birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ!  What a priceless and precious Gift He gave to us… Eternal Life! I am so thankful for Him, for my salvation and for my family and friends!

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Blessed and Happy New Year!

Luke 2: 1-14; “And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)  To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. 10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.  12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.  13  And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,  14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
