Finished piecing my October “Two’s Company Quilt Block Sew Along” (photo above of gold/cream quilt) and finally got it photographed for a quick post on my blog! October and November have been really busy months for me and I have fallen far behind on my quilts, my quilting and my postings!
The photo on the right is the 2017 Patterns of Life BOM Quilt… Come join the Sew-Along! Simply use Two different Blocks from my 2017 “POL” BOM Tutorials (FREE Tutorials on my website; see link below), and create your own Two’s Company Quilts! I plan to try a couple different blocks every two months. I’ll post them as they are finished! Remember, your quilt can be any size you choose! Have fun and create! Each quilt created in the Sew Along will be unique because each quilter will incorporate unique fabrics from her own stash! My quilt shown here uses the Garden of Eden Block #1 and Jacob’s Ladder Block #7 in a pale yellow print with a contrasting batik in gorgeous Fall colors. Close up’s of those two blocks are also shown here in this post.
This quilt was made to be 42″ square so it will fit my kitchen table as a table cover. Now, time to get the quilt top down to my Tin Lizzy and get it quilted! I plan to try these same two blocks using fabric for a Baby Quilt! I’ll include it here when it’s complete!
