Cross with a Cross – Block #4
The Cross with a Cross Block is another block that can be sewn together in rows and sections to eliminate having to worry about sewing Y-seams. (Although, sewing Y-seams is really can be really quick and fun! In a few months, I will have a BOM that will allow you the opportunity to learn to sew fast & easy Y-seams!)
The Cross with a Cross block has only 3 templates. You will find the instructions for sewing the block, the templates and the rotary cutting instructions (for those who prefer to use the rotary cutting method as opposed to templates!
When constructing the blocks for this series, always try to press seams to the dark side, if at all possible.

Fabric Requirements for Quilt: Blocks: Dark: 2 yards; Medium: 2 yards; Light: 2 5/8 yards. Dark Contrast fabric for setting blocks, setting corners, sashing, borders and binding: 2 1/2 yards. Backing: 4 yards.
